Strawberry Festival is Coming to Downtown Kokomo

Usher in the summer festival season at the Strawberry Festival in downtown Kokomo on Thursday, June 3.  Delicious Amish-baked shortcakes topped with sweet strawberries, vanilla ice cream, and fluffy whipped cream make this festival one of my favorites!   The giant strawberry shortcakes will be served for only $5 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (or while quantities last!)

Fresh local-grown strawberries will be available to purchase as well as kettle korn.  John Rosborough and the Sound of Music All-Stars will provide toe-tapping entertainment.  Strawberry Festival is a perfect time to stop for lunch at one of the great restaurants in downtown Kokomo, and then have dessert while enjoying the start of summer with friends, family, or co-workers.

Advance tickets can be purchased at Community First Bank, The Pointy Pencil, Baja Burritos, Palmer’s Jewelry, and the Kokomo/Howard County Chamber of Commerce, all located in downtown Kokomo.  Join us at the 2010 Kokomo Strawberry Festival for a sweet time!  For more information, call the Kokomo Downtown Association, 765-454-7926.
