2011 Duck Derby at Kokomo Beach

It is time again for Samaritan Caregiver’s Annual Duck Derby!  Plan to bring the entire family on Thursday, July 28, 2011 to Kokomo Beach Family Aquatic Center from 5-10 p.m. for an evening of fun, games, and food.

From 5-7 p.m, Duck Derby ticket holders (tickets $5 each) will receive free Papa John’s pizza, Coca Cola products, and enjoy free children’s games.  From 7-10 p.m., Kokomo Beach will be open to Duck Derby ticket holders with a wrist band.  Wrist bands are given out on a first come first serve basis beginning at 5 p.m. with 1,400 maximum capacity in Kokomo Beach.  Non-swimmers may view the races from bleachers outside the fence.

The Papa Duck and Rubber Duck races will be held in the Lazy River from 7-8 p.m.  Papa Duck’s are sponsored by local businesses and compete for a Papa John’s Pizza Party.  The winner of the rubber duck race will receive $500, courtesy of the Kokomo offices of Edward Jones Investments.
